Dawn, October 7, 2023. A desert music festival. Thousands of young people were dancing for peace as the sun came up. Then rockets came. Gunmen. Today is a sober day of remembrance for the world.  

Tomorrow, Mat and Anita Staver will walk that same ground with a group of pastors to pray where this brutal terrorist attack shocked the world with Hamas’ lust for blood and brutality. 

But here is the part that should stop every American in their tracks: Our tax dollars are still ending up in the hands of Hamas! Our “dues” to the United Nations are being funneled into the salaries of U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which has hundreds of connections to, and crossover staff, with Hamas! 

It's hard to grasp the level of spite and fury that filled Hamas terrorists as they ruthlessly descended on helpless, innocent civilians, even children. But it's not hard to find the source. 

In Gaza, schoolchildren are taught from the earliest ages that killing Jews is an honor to be celebrated. UNRWA's own classroom hate has been the subject of multiple exposés, as we'll show below. 

Fax Congress now and demand they stop sending your tax dollars to the U.N. Every fax lands on a desk in Washington, and they are watching to see whether you will stand up or quietly allow it.

"UNRWA is complicit in radicalizing schoolchildren through the glorification of terrorists, encouragement to violence and teaching of blood libels," said the director of the watchdog organization IMPACT-se.  

On October 7, 2023, as Hamas was still murdering Jewish families, UNRWA teachers flocked to social media to celebrate the massacre! According to UN Watch, here are a few quotes from an organization with a staff of thousands: 

• "7th October, 2023! Sculpture the date!" posted UNRWA English teacher Asmaa Raffia Kuheil, adding a heart emoji. 
• "Welcome the great October," posted UNRWA school administrator Hmada Ahmed. 
• "Allah is Great, Allah is Great, reality surpasses our wildest dreams," posted UNRWA Gaza teacher Osama Ahmed. 
• UNRWA school principal Iman Hassan justified the massacre as "restoring rights" and "redressing" Palestinian "grievances." 
• Rawia Helles, director of the UNRWA Khan Younis Training Center, glorified the terrorists as "hero," "raider," and "prince of Khan Younis." 

Here is the good news ... and the unfinished business. President Trump defunded UNRWA, and Congress wrote that funding ban into law after Oct 7. But that’s not the whole story.  

UNRWA is a thread in a much larger tapestry. The U.N. still collects more than 800 million in American tax dollars, then it pays the salaries of all international UNRWA staff. The same group that was so deeply involved in terrorism against our ally Israel. 

Why should the U.N. not get another penny? Because an organization that cannot or will not clean its own house has no claim on your paycheck. Tell Congress to act now to stop our money from flowing to terrorists. 

Americans should never bankroll the militant bigotry that led to October 7. The men, women, and children who suffered horribly that day deserve more than speeches. They deserve a government courageous enough to stop throwing our money at the terrorists who perpetuated it.
