HR 5 elevates "sexual orientation and gender identity" (referred to here as LGBT) to the same protected category as race. It will violate the religious freedom of Americans in numerous ways.
It will impact all employers, including religious and non-profit organizations; contractors; houses of worship; public, private, and religious schools; curriculum; bathrooms; sports; daycare providers; shelters; hospitals; places of gatherings; entertainment providers; counselors; foster care and adoption; biological parents; landlords; anywhere providing a “good, service, or program,” including those advertised online; transportation drivers; and all local, state, and federal entities and many other areas.

Employers:
This bill would add “sexual orientation and gender identity” (“actual or perceived”) to the same protection as race, so every employer will be forced to hire cross-dressers, transgender, and those involved in homosexual conduct to the highest and most sensitive positions within the company, organization, or ministry.
Houses of Worship:
Religious establishments would be forced to host same-sex ceremonies and baby showers or lose tax-exempt status for noncompliance. 
They would be forced to hire staff involved in LGBT conduct, even visible positions of authority and give them complete access to all children, even in the restrooms.
If taking overnight trips, including sports or mission trips, they cannot segregate rooms by biological gender.  
Cross-dressers could demand that they be greeters, ushers, Sunday School teachers, and more.  
Pastors and other leaders would be forced to official same-sex ceremonies.
Schools:
Religious K-12 schools, preschools, and daycare centers would have to force their students to obey adults who show up at work one day as a man and the next day as a woman.
Religious schools would be forced to hire professors and staff involved in LGBT actions.
Staff will be forced to use biologically false pronouns.
In student and staff housing, it would allow biological men to force their way into shared housing intended for a single gender.
Any college that refuses could lose accreditation for noncompliance and be ineligible to receive federal aid and student loans. This would cause most religious schools to compromise their core mission or close their doors. 
Bathrooms:
Biological men will have access to bathrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms, showers, and nursing-mother rooms at any time. They can also stay as long as they please.  
Shelters:
This legislation would create many more victims -- like women in shelters who have been sexually assaulted by a man posing as a "transgender" to gain access to the facilities.
Counselors:
Counselors will be silenced and clients of all ages will not be able to receive any counsel for their unwanted same-sex attractions, behavior, or gender confusion.
This bill literally sets the stage for banning the Bible, which offers the power to free those wanting to turn away from homosexual conduct. 
Parents and Children:
If biological parents refuse to provide sex-change surgeries and hormones to their minor child, the government views this a “child abuse” and can remove the child from their home and use taxpayer dollars to fund such medical actions.
Religious adoption agencies would be forced to place innocent children in homes with adults involved in same-sex conduct.
Religious families must be willing to accept practicing LGBT minors in their home as a prerequisite to being approved as foster parents.
Landlords:
Rental properties must welcome individuals involved in LGBT conduct within their homes, including single room rentals in owner-occupied homes or Bed and Breakfasts.
Small businesses:
Home-based businesses would be forced to hire and welcome LGBT people into their privately-owned home, even if they are trying to raise their children according to their own religious beliefs! 
This bill even applies to those with an internet page advertising a service or product, or transporting in their personal car if contracting with a company.
Even the smallest slight would give someone the legal right to sue. For example, if a person assumed they were turned down for a staff position because of a LGBT lifestyle, they could sue the church for damages, even if that was not the reason they were denied the job!  
And there is NO RELIGIOUS EXEMPTION to this bill! </td>
